1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AutoPilot ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AutoPilot is a car maintenance tracking application that helps vehicle owners manage their maintenance schedules, track service history, and get AI-powered maintenance advice. The App provides general guidance and reminders — it is not a substitute for professional mechanical inspection or advice.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Specifically:

• Maintenance schedules are estimates based on general manufacturer guidelines and the vehicle information you provide. Actual service needs may vary.
• AI assistant responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate. Always consult a qualified mechanic for safety-related concerns.
• Cost estimates provided are approximate ranges and may not reflect actual prices in your area.

4. Subscriptions

AutoPilot offers optional premium subscriptions:

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.
• Prices may change with notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

5. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the vehicle information you provide.
• You agree not to rely solely on the App for critical vehicle safety decisions.
• You are responsible for maintaining your device's security and any data stored within the App.
• You agree not to misuse the AI assistant or attempt to manipulate it for harmful purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoPilot and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for vehicle issues, missed maintenance, or reliance on AI-generated advice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to design, text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by AutoPilot and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
